BARRIGADA, Guam – Soldiers with Detachment 5, 368th Military Police, 9th Mission Support Command, bow their heads for the benediction during their deployment ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Guam Army National Guard Assembly Hall.

New Army Reserve center, troop store for Saipan Reserve troops, Families

Brig. Gen. Stephen K. Curda, commander of the 9th Mission Support Command was in attendance of the  Saipan U.S. Army Reserve Center's groundbreaking ceremony, July 11, 2016. Along with the commander, in attendance was the Lt. Governor, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islandes, the Honorable Victor Hocog, other state officials and management personnel from Aafes. The center will be undergoing a full revitalization to its complex, enhancing the capabilities of the center to include upgraded storm protection, security systems and upgrades to the air conditioning system. The attached Aafes Troop Store will also be receiving a facelift by upgrading the store by 3 times larger than the existing store in order to more effectively serve Soldiers, Families and Veterans. Project completion is scheduled for March 2017.

Pacific Reserve, guard Soldiers wrap up Imua Dawn 2016 with a group photo, Sagamihara Depot, Kanagawa, Japan, June 25, 2016. Imua Dawn 2016 focused on maneuver support operations and enhancing cooperative capabilities in mobility, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADAR), Noncombatant Evacuation Operations (NEO), and sustainment support in the event of natural disasters and other crises that threaten public safety and health in the Pacific region.

76th ORC EPLO/CMPO and 9th MSC participated in a DSCA briefing 101 and executed a table top exercise before hurricane season in Hawaii and American Samoa in order to talk through immediate and deliberate response procedures.

Deployed Digital Training Campus enhances Soldiers’ training and readiness

Saipan-based Soldiers with the 302nd Quartermaster Company – Detachment 1, 9th Mission Support Command, U.S. Army Reserve, go online to check their military emails, as well as to conduct mandatory Web-based training during battle assembly at the U.S. Army Reserve Center, Saipan, Jan. 10. The Deployed Digital Training Campus (DDTC), which comes with laptops and video teleconferencing capabilities, enhances these Soldiers’ training and readiness by allowing them access to military websites, typically not accessible from home.

CPOF allows commanders to maintain sight over the battlefield and enable collaboration with superiors, peers and subordinates over live data.
