Be a tool in the tool kit of the Soldier and Commander/AR Staff to link the two together when needed to resolve admin issues. Capture, review, and provide best business practices to develop policy for the facilitation of smooth transition of Army Soldiers. LNOs are not there to replace the Warrior Transition Cadre, but there to aid them in gaining resolution of issues that require the involvement of the Army Reserve Command cell and unit staff. LNOs will: • Identify and document lessons learned and communicate data to Program Manager to facilitate process improvements
• Report issues that are beyond the scope of local resolution
• Seek out all opportunities to interact with Soldiers
• Maintain independence, neutrality and impartiality
• Assist in decreasing process delays
• Answer questions, resolve issues, obtain accurate information, expedite services. NOT a means of circumventing the chain of command
• Utilize administrative, organizational, listening and problem-solving skills
