Army Reserve Streamlines Postal Matches, Improves Training Value

Marksmanship programs have been Equal Opportunity compliant for over a century. The Army Reserve Postal Match recognizes two Army Reserve marksmanship luminaries. Margaret Thompson Murdock, an Army Reserve nurse, tied for the Gold medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Horace Wayman Bivins, a Buffalo Soldier who earned a Silver Star during the Battle of Santiago de Cuba, was America's first Double Distinguished marksman.
