Holocaust Days of Remembrance
During World War II, millions of people were murdered, tortured, imprisoned or forced into slave labor by the Nazi regime. In what Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower termed “horror camps,” names like Auschwitz, Buchenwald and Dachau have become synonymous with the mass slaughter and cruelty of the Holocaust. We remember and honor those killed as their sacrifices commit us to be vigilant against hate and persecution.
