Super Typhoon Yutu Recovery Efforts
A U.S. Navy Sailor with Naval Beach Unit 7 based out of Sasebo, Japan, directs a 9th Mission Support Command military tactical vehicle off a Navy Landing Craft Utility to a port in Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Nov. 18, 2018. Service members from Joint Region Marianas and other units from within U.S. Indo-Pacific Command assigned to Task Force-West are providing Department of Defense support to the CNMI’s civil and local officials as part of the FEMA-supported Typhoon Yutu recovery efforts.
