Colonel Louisa R. Bargeron

Commander, 94th Training Division (FS)

COL. Louisa R. Bargeron commissioned from Norfolk State University as a Quartermaster Officer and served as a Supply Platoon Leader in the 146th Quartermaster Company, Fort Totten, NY. COL. Bargeron moved on to command and deploy the 424th Quartermaster Company (Direct Support) in 2003 to Iraq to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Following the Combined Logistics Officer Course, COL. Bargeron was assigned as the Support Operations Officer for the 389th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Fort Totten, NY. In 2007, she attended the Information Operations Qualification Course and deployed to Afghanistan as the Information Operation (IO) Plans Officer for RC-East/Combined Joint Task Force-101 supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2012, she augmented the Joint Information Operations Support Task Force (Special Operations) in Qatar as the Chief, IO Effects, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. In her most recent deployment, COL. Bargeron supported Operation Inherent Resolve and Spartan Shield as the Equipping Director for the Counter-ISIS Train and Equip Fund, 1st Theater Sustainment Command.

COL. Bargeron’s command assignments include Commander, 1st Brigade (OSUT), 98th Training Division (IET), Fort Moore, GA; and Commander, 1192d Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion, New Orleans, LA. Her key staff assignments include Deputy Director for Reserve Component Integration in the office of the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 (Mob & Trng), Pentagon, Washington, DC, Joint Strategic Planner for US Central Command, National Capital Region and Senior Military Advisor to the Global Engagement Center, US Department of State, Washington, DC.

COL. Bargeron is a graduate of the Quartermaster Officer Basic and Advance Courses, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the Command and General Staff College, and the U.S. Army War College. She holds a Master of Science in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from New York University, a Master of Strategic Studies and Certificate in National Security Policy Studies from the United States Army War College.

In her civilian career, COL. Bargeron works for Amazon delivering micro-mobility transportation solutions for Manhattan, NY. She also spent 15 years as a career civil servant serving at US Southern Command as a Deputy, Special Operations and Activities Division, and with the United States Agency for International Development as a Legislative and Public Affairs Officer.
