Brig. Gen. Brandi B. Peasley

Commander, 451st Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)

Brig. Gen. Brandi Bryan Peasley commissioned from the United States Military Academy in 1994 to the U.S. Army Transportation Corps. From 1995 to 1998, Brig. Gen. Peasley served in the 181st Transportation Battalion in Germany and Bosnia. She served as Platoon Leader and Executive Officer, Battalion S1 and Assistant Battalion S4.  In 1998, Brig. Gen. Peasley was the Operations Officer in the 10th Transportation Battalion (Waterborne), Fort Eustis, VA and deployed in support of Hurricane Mitch recovery operations in Central America. In 1999, she transferred to the Individual Ready Reserve.

After September 11, 2001, Brig. Gen. Peasley returned to the United States Army Reserve. She was the Logistics Planner for the 416th Theater Engineer Command at U.S. Army South from 2002 to 2006. As an AGR Soldier, Brig. Gen. Peasley led the logistics operations for the New Horizons Humanitarian and Civic Assistance program in Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, and Honduras. In 2006, Brig. Gen. Peasley became the Battalion Executive Officer for the 7th Transportation Training Battalion, 104th Training Division in Pasadena, CA, then in 2007 transitioned to US Northern Command J4 Transportation Officer in Colorado Springs, CO. In 2010, Brig. Gen. Peasley mobilized and commanded the Personnel Assistance Point coordinating the R&R flights between the U.S. and Kuwait and in 2012, she was the Mobilization Chief for the 311th Expeditionary Support Command in Los Angeles, CA. In 2013, Brig. Gen. Peasley took command of the 1192nd Deployment Distribution Support Command in New Orleans, LA then moved to become the Brigade S3 at 1st Brigade, Southern Division, 75th Training Command in Houston, TX. From 2016 to April 2018, Brig. Gen. Peasley commanded the 63rd Readiness Division’s Special Troops Brigade in Mountain View, CA, then took command of the 4th Brigade, Pacific Division, 75th Training Command from May 2018-May 2020.  Brig. Gen. Peasley was the Chief of Staff at the 79th Theater Sustainment Command, Los Alamitos, CA from May 2020 to July 2022 with a follow-on assignment as the Deputy Commander 75th Innovation Command, Houston, TX, from July 2022 to July 2023.  She is currently the commander of the 451st Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Wichita, KS.

Her military education includes the Transportation Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course, Joint Operations Planning and Execution System I and II (JOPES), Multifunctional Logisticians Course, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, Master Fitness Trainer, the United States Army Command and General Staff College, Advanced Operations Course and is a 2018 graduate of the Army War College.

Brig. Gen. Peasley’s awards and decorations include:  Meritorious Service Medal (1 Silver OLC), Joint Commendation Medal (1OLC), Army Commendation Medal (1 Silver OLC), Joint Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3OLC), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (2OLC), National Defense Service Medal (with Star), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserved Medal (Bronze Hourglass with M Device), Army Service Medal, Army Overseas Ribbon (2 tours), Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon (4) and the NATO ribbon.

Brig. Gen. Peasley holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and a minor in Systems Engineering from West Point and a Master of Arts in Logistics Management. She is employed by TechnipFMC and lives in Houston with her husband, LTC (ret.) Mark Peasley.
