Army Reserve Ambassador Michael T. Hauser joined the Army Reserve Ambassador Corps in July 2022. He is a retired Army Colonel who served for 34 years in various positions of increasing responsibility; his service also included time in the Active Army and Army Reserve as an Enlisted Soldier and ROTC Cadet. ARA Hauser served in various positions in the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), including chief of staff and brigade commander. He is adept at working with state and local governments, business leaders and educators to highlight the mission and requirements of the Army Reserve. ARA Hauser’s family knows selfless service quite well. His spouse of 32 years, Rhonda, is an educator and teaches military children at Fort Knox, KY. One of his daughters served as an Adjutant General Corps Officer in the Army Reserve for eight years and his other daughter is a Wounded Warrior, retired Captain and continues to serve as a DoD civilian in London, UK. He is very active in his community as a volunteer with several organizations and enjoys working with civilian and military leaders in support of the Army and Army Reserve.
