On 11 October 2021, ARA Gary Port attended a dinner organized by NY CASA Pamela Newman. During the dinner, Port met with NYC Veterans’ Affairs Commissioner, James Hendon, COL Criag Martin, Fort Hamilton Garrison Commander, Mr. Charles Walker, Deputy to the Garrison Commander, John Prufeta, who runs a charity providing service dogs to veterans, Charles Sullivan, veteran, and former owner of the N.E. Patriots, and other members of the business community. As a result of the new connections, Port will be able to continue ARA his outreach to the business and veterans’ community.
