San Juan, Puerto Rico - U.S. Army Reserve soldier, Sgt. Edgar Valdez, 220th Public Affairs Detachment, takes photos during a food delivery mission, that is part of Hurricane Maria relief efforts, outside of San Juan, Puerto Rico on Oct. 6, 2017. Valdez is part of a public affairs team that has spent the past several days working with Army Reserve soldiers, under the guidance and request of civil authorities, who are providing much needed supplies and resources to all of Puerto Rico. America’s Army Reserve can provide logistical, medical, and engineering support within hours of a disaster.
