Army Reserve Soldiers help 'Stop the Bleed'

MESA, Ariz. - 1st Lt. Christina Knortka, an ICU nurse with the 7453rd Medical Operational Readiness Unit, Mesa, Arizona, and a Phoenix resident, instructs medical students on how to properly apply a tourniquet during a Stop the Bleed event held January 11, 2023 at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Kmortka and other 7453rd MORU Soldiers took part in the exercise prior to working with the students the next day in a mass casualty exercise at the university.
