SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Col. Carlso Tamez, outgoing commander of the Army Reserve Medical Command's 3rd Medical Training Brigade, accepts the guidon from Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Marshall, 3rd MTB command sergeant major during the 3rd MTB change of command ceremony Oct. 16 in San Antonio, Texas. Tamez, a Weslaco, Texas resident, retired after more than three decades of service in the Army including deployments to South America, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and multiple deployments to Iraq.
