Army Reserve mortuary affairs unit provides critical help in COVID-19 crisis

NEW YORK - 54th Quartermaster Company Soldiers conduct a promotion ceremony April 8, 2020, during the unit's mortuary affairs mission in support of the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's coronavirus response. Pvt. Estsfanie Modlin and Pvt. Dariana Velasco were both promoted to Pvt. 2 during a ceremony held in Times Square.
