Parks Reserve Forces Training Area Focuses on Resilient Energy
July 31, 2023 — Exciting energy-focused initiatives continue at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (PRFTA) in Dublin, CA. On 14 July, the installation held an official ribbon cutting ceremony for two Level 3 and five Level 2 new electric vehicle dual port charging stations. This makes PRFTA the first military installation to install the chargers under a pilot program partnership with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). Army Reserve Taps Hacker Community to Enhance Microgrid Cybersecurity
June 9, 2022 — As the Army’s demonstration installation for energy and water resilience, California’s Fort Hunter Liggett is focused on enhancing the cybersecurity of the post’s innovative microgrid system. Partnering with the Office of the Secretary of Defense's (OSD) Directorate of Digital Services (DDS) in the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) and Lawrence Berkely National Lab, the Army Reserve-funded installation is participating in national conferences to leverage the expertise of “white hat” ethical hackers.
