DACHAU, Germany—On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the World War II Allied D-Day invasion to end National Socialist Fascism in Europe, eight Reserve Soldiers from various units within the 7th Mission Support Command joined four active duty Soldiers from the senior leadership team of the 21st Theater Support Command´s Equal Opportunity Staff to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial on June 5, 2019.

7th ILE Detachment Gets New Commander

Colonel Edward Van Giezen receives the Meritorious Service Medal for his leadership of the 7th Intermediate Level Education Detachment.  Van Giezen handed off command to Lt. Col. Michael Hiller at a ceremony at 7th Army Training Command headquarters at Grafenwohr Training area, Grafenwohr, Germany on December 12, 2018.  Van Giezen will now head Human Resources for the 7th Mission Support Command.
