The 2500th Digital Liason Detachment poses for a group photo at Refugio peak near Wiessenbach, Italy, Jan, 12, during the unit's three-day battle assembly Jan. 11-13. The unit climbed to the peak with the 6th Alpini Regiment of the Italian army.

Colonel Edward Van Giezen receives the Meritorious Service Medal for his leadership of the 7th Intermediate Level Education Detachment.  Van Giezen handed off command to Lt. Col. Michael Hiller at a ceremony at 7th Army Training Command headquarters at Grafenwohr Training area, Grafenwohr, Germany on December 12, 2018.  Van Giezen will now head Human Resources for the 7th Mission Support Command.

7th Mission Support Command Family Member Restores Hope

Nathan Perez works to restore a memorial to the late Erick Lynch on October 6, 2018, at what is now Kaiserslautern Middle School. Lynch was a Kaiserslautern American High School student killed in a hiking accident in 1998. For his Eagle Scout project, Perez led a small group of his Boy Scout Troop 232 fellows and their parents in the restoration project. The memorial had fallen into neglect over the years.
