June 30, 2017 | 16:47
This video features Suze Orman, a personal financial expert, who volunteered her services to help Commanders discuss the importance of Soldiers and their Families taking charge of their personal finances whether in or out of the military. Army Families receive advice on how to ensure they are financially secure and how to best save for retirement in light of the new retirement system scheduled to be implemented in 2018. Soldiers are encouraged to talk with their Chain of Concern, contact a Financial Counselor, and become familiar with resources like Military OneSource and their Army Community Service center.
