JWA exercises help the Army evaluate emerging concepts, integrate new technologies, and promote interoperability between the Army, other services, and our multinational partners. Nothing brings a smile to your face like snuggling with a lion cub. “I have a unique background in that I specialize in zoo/exotic medicine. Prior to deciding to become a veterinarian, I was a zoo keeper. All of my veterinary experience prior to and after completing veterinary school was treating and caring for a traditional zoo collection,” said Capt. Christine Bui, a Veterinarian with the Army Reserve.

'Brickyard' mural cements deployment legacy

The completed T-wall for the 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.  Chief Warrant Officer 2 Paul Viall worked countless hours in extreme heat to paint a mural that will represent the hard work and dedication of the Army Reserve’s Indianapolis-based “Brickyard” Soldiers and their time serving within the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility.
