CID is made up of professional, federal law enforcement officers who investigate felony crimes. CID Special Agents are commonly in suits and plain clothes as they conduct their investigations. Military Police officers are uniformed officers who may perform traffic duties on base, law and order policing, or detainee and detention operations abroad. Annual trainings like GS23 are essential to mission success not only for classroom and weapons qualifications, but also for agents to network and leverage experience from multiple law enforcement backgrounds.

The purpose of the dialogue was to conduct informal and candid discussions with Army Reserve senior leaders on mission readiness challenges, including best practices. Boor, commanding general of the U.S. Army Reserve's 99th Regional Support Command, visits the command's Equipment Concentration Site 99 April 7 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. ECS 99 is a 75,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical storage and maintenance site that provides a secure, climate-controlled environment in which to store medical, dental, optical and veterinary equipment, and maintain and repair bio-medical equipment, x-ray machines, ventilators and defibrillators in order to support the Innovative Readiness Training program, which provides necessary training to medical and dental personnel across all branches of military service while providing much-needed medical and dental care to underserviced areas in the United States.

Army Reserve’s 99th RSC continues Mass Medical initiative

Pvt. Jeanette Lee of the Army Reserve’s 244th Aviation Brigade undergoes vision screening during the mass medical-readiness event hosted Aug. 8-9 by the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., in an effort to increase Soldier readiness throughout the northeastern United States. More than 300 Army Reserve and Army National Guard Soldiers had the opportunity to take care of their Periodic Health Assessments, dental exams, vision screenings, HIV blood draws, immunizations, hearing tests, LOD processing and temporary/permanent profiles during the event.
