Army Reserve commanding general shares vision with senior leaders

Lieutenant General Charles D. Luckey, chief of Army Reserve and commanding general, U.S. Army Reserve Command (left), is greeted by Maj. Gen. Margaret W. Boor, commanding general of the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command (right), upon his arrival July 14 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. As USARC’s commanding general, Luckey leads a community-based force of more than 200,000 Soldiers and Civilians with a "footprint" that includes 50 states, five territories, and more than 30 countries. The Army Reserve is a critical force provider of trained and ready units and Soldiers providing full spectrum capabilities essential for the Army to fight and win wars and respond to homeland emergencies on behalf of the American people.

Top enlisted Soldier focuses on readiness during JBMDL visit

This event was part of a two-day visit to the joint base that included a tour of the base’s key mission and training assets as well as a town hall meeting with Soldiers and Army civilians. The driving force behind Dailey's visit was Soldier readiness, which allows the Total Army to continue to answer the nation's calls in an increasingly volatile and uncertain world.

Army Reserve support command helps enhance sustainable readiness

This training kicked off 163 mailroom inspections conducted by the 678th over a two-week period at Army Reserve facilities throughout the northeastern United States as part of a pilot program hosted by the 99th RSC in order to provide real-world training opportunities to boost Soldier readiness.

Army Reserve targets readiness during FORSCOM Commander’s Dialogue
