‘Light me up:’ Soldiers power through Interior Electrician training

94th Training Division Instructor Maintains Excellence at RTS-M Devens
March 29, 2018 — A brisk wind blows through the open work bay at Regional Training Site - Maintenance (RTS-M) Devens on this late morning in March as Sgt. 1st Class Gilbert Galman, a 94th Training Division instructor, hunches over a computer screen, carefully analyzing the results of his students' preventative maintenance checks and services diagnostic exam. Huddling them up, he meticulously outlines some of the common deficiencies he has noticed and, along with the other instructors, runs through some hands-on practical exercises with the students, ensuring that they learn from their experiences so they can make the necessary adjustments to ace their final test of the 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic Course. It's this kind of attention to detail that helped earn Galman the title of Instructor of the Year at RTS-M Devens in October of last year, an honor he still currently holds and consistently strives to prove himself worthy of every day. Galman was surprised by the honor since he did not set out to achieve any sort of recognition, but instead simply focused his efforts on trying to offer the same kind of effective and meaningful instruction that his fellow instructors offer at the Devens schoolhouse. “As far as teaching and teaching the right way,” says Galman, “it's always been the right way, as far as what we do here.”... Soldiers Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with Local Elementary School Children
March 7, 2018 — Silver tiaras, blue wigs, bouncy hats, and Army olive green uniforms filled the classrooms at Hopkins Elementary School here in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ 114th birthday on March 2, 2018. Marathon Running: Inspiration for Soldier’s Fitness
March 5, 2018 — For Command Sgt. Maj. Gregory Betty, an Army Reserve Senior Advisor to 1st Brigade Commander and a 12-year New York City Transit Authority Superintendent, assigned to the 1st Brigade, 94th Training Division-Force Sustainment, he found comfort in running which he initially used as a sleep aid and a means to remain focused on the mission at hand while in a deployed environment. MG Hackett visits 5th BN, 94th TNG DIV during time of transition
February 14, 2018 — Maj. Gen. Bruce Hackett, commanding general of the 80th Training Command (TASS), and Brig. Gen. Hector Lopez, the commanding general of the 94th Training Division, travelled to Puerto Rico recently to celebrate the relocation and reopening of the 94th's 5th Battalion's new schoolhouse at Fort Buchanan after Hurricane Maria demolished the battalion's old training facility. The celebration was somewhat bittersweet, though, as Hackett and Lopez were also on the island to assist with the planned transition and approved reassignment of all units stationed in Puerto Rico to the operational control of the 1st Mission Support Command... The 5th BN's previous schoolhouse was severely damaged by the devastation of Hurricane Maria. Maj. Gen. Hackett and Brig. Gen.
