Army Reserve battalion deploys in support Operation Inherent Resolve

Brig. Gen. David Elwell, Commanding General, 311th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), thanks Army Reserve Soldiers and families during the 336th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion mobilization ceremony, March 5, 2016, Buckeye, Ariz. The 336th CSSB provides expert logistics support for the fight to degrade and defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL. With 65 percent of the Army’s logistics capability, the fight is dependent upon the Army Reserve.

Active Component ESC Soldiers share their best practices with Reserve Component ESC

Soldiers from the 593rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Joint Base Lewis-McChord spent the weekend sharing knowledge and best practices with their Army Reserve counterparts from the 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Marysville, Wash., Feb. 27-28.

Col. Toni A. Glover, 650th Regional Support Group commander, and Brig. Gen. David E. Elwell, 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command commanding general, traveled to Las Vegas to presided over the 650th RSG Yearly Training Brief Readiness Workshop 2016 at the George W. Dunaway Army Reserve Center in Sloan, Nev. Feb. 27. This annual briefing allows battalion and company commanders to discuss training concepts, philosophies and challenges with the higher level commanders, respectively.
