FORT McCOY, Wis. - 88th Readiness Division Commanding General, Maj. General Darrell Guthrie, and 88th RD Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Gregory Betty hosted a stand-down to address Extremism in the ranks. Here, 88th RD Deputy Commanding General, Brig. Gen. John Hafley, leads the discussion. The conversation was frank, honest and emphasized the importance of the family-like connections in our U.S. Army and Army Reserve organizations and units, the fundamental necessity of respect and dignity in interactions between all Soldiers, and the commander's insistence on living the Army Values. Later, the class broke out into small groups and the discussion continued in earnest. Also participating was 88th RD Deputy Commanding General, Brig. Gen. Maria Juarez.
