Yellow Ribbon Event Helps Prepare Soldiers and Families For Deployment Challenges

Brig. Gen. The event provides Army Reserve Soldiers and their families with information, services, referrals and proactive outreach opportunities throughout the entire deployment cycle.  Its goal is to effectively prepare Soldiers and families for mobilization, sustain families during the mobilization process and reintegrate Soldiers with their families, communities and employers upon redeployment or release from active duty. ROTC cadets experience Djiboutian military culture

Event Prepares Family for Soldier Return

Soldiers and family members take time out to enjoy each-other’s company in light-hearted games during the 863rd Engineer Battalion Yellow Ribbon event and Family day. Family days are a chance for a unit’s families to come together and meet other family members, and share experiences, in a light and fun atmosphere.
