During the 7-day unit armorer course at RTSM-Devens, 19 students learned how to disassemble reassemble and perform a functions check on 7 different weapons systems.

Sgt. 1st Class Donald Swain is awarded the Army Achievement Medal for his hard work and achievement during the 80th Training Command's annual instructor of the year competition.
The 80th Training Command's annual instructor of the year competition consisted of a 20-minute class of participants choosing, an appearance board with questions from the Army Training and Doctrine Command and Army Regulations based one instructor knowledge, and an impromptu motivator style of instruction with the intent to motivate students on a topic given by the board.

RICHMOND, Virginia (July 29th, 2022) Navy Reserve Force Master Chief (FORCM) Tracy Hunt places a Navy Chief combination cover on Army Chief Warrant Officer 5 Phillip M. Brashear, son of the late Master Chief Master Diver Carl Brashear during his appointment as an Honorary Navy Chief Petty Officer. The appointment was held in conjunction with CW5 Brashear’s retirement ceremony celebrating his 40 years of military service at the Frank B. Lotts Conference Center onboard Defense Supply Center in Richmond, Virginia on July 29th, 2022. CW5 Brashear was appointed as an Honorary Navy Chief Petty Officer by the Master Chief Petty officer (MCPON) of the Navy Russell Smith for his relentless dedication to the United States Navy. Over the course of 17 years, CW5 Brashear inspired Sailors and members of the Chiefs Mess to keep pushing forward in the face of adversity, volunteering his service to the Navy, and accepting responsibility beyond the call of printed assignment.. A competitor completes the 100-meter swim during the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge test event at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa. on May 1, 2022.  During the event ran by the 94th Training Division, 80th Training Command’s Regional Training Site-Maintenance here, competitors were required to remove their uniform while staying afloat after completing the 100-meter swim in under 4 minutes.
