7th MSC partners with 7th Army NCOA for first virtual BLC amid pandemic

U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Kenneth Chefan, a detachment sergeant with the 446th Transportation Battalion, 510th Regional Support Group, 7th Mission Support Command, facilitates a block of instruction in Kaiserslautern, Germany, during a virtual Basic Leader Course being taught over video teleconference, April 21, 2020. Two 7th MSC noncommissioned officers are providing leadership as assistant instructors for one of 20 classrooms in four countries across Europe during the first-ever four-week virtual BLC course being led by the 7th Army NCO Academy out of Grafenwoehr, Germany.

Color Guard Soldiers assigned to the 7th Mission Support Command participated in the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of the town of Periers, France on July 27, 2019. DACHAU, Germany—On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the World War II Allied D-Day invasion to end National Socialist Fascism in Europe, eight Reserve Soldiers from various units within the 7th Mission Support Command joined four active duty Soldiers from the senior leadership team of the 21st Theater Support Command´s Equal Opportunity Staff to visit the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial on June 5, 2019.

The 457th Civil Affairs Battalion hosted soldiers from Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia and the Republic of North Macedonia at a cultural awareness seminar and Multinational Civil-Military Co-operation Center planning conference April 27-28 at Camp Normandy, Grafenwoehr, Germany. The events were designed to prepare participants for the U.S. Army Europe summer exercises.
