The Custer Division speaks on its centennial anniversary
U.S. Army Reserve Lt. Col. Daniel Jaquint, left, Chief of Staff, 85th Support Command and Mr. Anthony Taylor, center, Public Affairs Specialist, 85th Support Command, take part in a live tap-ing interview discussing the 100-year anniversary of the 85th Support Command at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library in Chicago, June 5, 2017. The interview focused on the 85th Sup-port Command’s 100-year history dating back to World War I, when it was activated as an active Army component; it also included a discussion on the 85th Spt. Cmd.’s current role as a reserve component. During the interview Jaquint and Taylor both spoke about the importance of the Army Reserve in today’s climate. Jaquint emphasized that with some of the actions seen making headlines, the 85th Support Command has a vital role, partnered with First Army, to ensure the readiness and training of Soldiers ahead of mobilizations and deployments to meet the opera-tional needs of the Army and the Joint Warfighter.
