Civilian medical personnel support Operation Cold Steel II training at Fort McCoy

FORT MCCOY, Wis. - A MedEvac helicopter from Gunderson Health System lands at Range 26 on Feb. 8, 2018, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The helicopter and staff were on hand to participate in a medical training scenario for Soldiers at Fort McCoy training in the Operation Cold Steel II exercise. Gunderson Health System medical personnel regularly support military medical training efforts at the installation. Operation Cold Steel is the U.S. Army Reserve’s crew-served weapons qualification and validation exercise to ensure America’s Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short-notice as part of Ready Force X.
