France - An Army Reserve Corps doctor and Red Cross nurse, along with other medical Soldiers, assess the condition of the wounded and prioritize patient treatment. The wounded at the hospital helped stop the German offensive north of the town of Suippes in northwestern France from 15 to 18 July 1918. Both the 42nd and 77th divisions fought in this area alongside other American units and the French Army. (An Army Reserve Historical Painting.)
