Fort McCoy Range Maintenance Section keeps training areas ready for exercise operations

The work was in preparation for range use by service members training in Operation Cold Steel, an Army Reserve exercise. The 311th ESC introduces “The Year of Fitness”

To kick off “The Year of Fitness,” Brig. Gen. David E. Elwell, 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command commanding general, invited Tony Horton, a world-class motivational speaker and an author of top-selling books, to a command-wide readiness session at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, March 4. The 311th ESC is introducing a new fitness challenge called, “Combat Fitness Challenge.” Physical fitness is one the cornerstones of combat readiness because being physically fit means that a Soldier is always ready for any mission.
