The 227th ICTC works hard at Sierra Army Depot

Army Reserve unit’s Energy Team continues to receive recognition

Christine Ploschke, acting chief, Environmental Division, and Environmental Compliance Branch and Energy Branch manager with the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, addresses the facility coordinator training class held Feb. 23 at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. The two-day class was designed to help coordinators improve their individual Army Reserve center. The 99th is offering the training monthly throughout the 13-state region it oversees.

Army Reserve Chaplains Build Unit and Soldier Resilience

Army Reserve chaplains and chaplain-assistants come together for religious-support specific training during the three-week Combat Support Training Exercise and Camp Roberts and Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. They covered a number of topics that they likely would not be able to learn outside a large exercise setting. Nearly 5,000 Army Reserve Soldiers from all over the United States and elsewhere, participated in the June 4 through 24, 2016 Combat Support Training Exercise. The purpose of this exercise was for Army Reserve units to practice their technical skills in an austere tactical environment under combat-like conditions.
