432nd Civil Affairs Team assists with Slovakian gift outreach

Capt. Madeline Gramling, 3232nd Civil Affairs Team commander, addresses the crowd during a ceremony in Martin, Slovakia, on February 12, 2021. Soldiers from the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion along with their counterparts in the Slovak military gifted ozone generators to a school in Martin. Two-hundred and forty-five generators, supplied by a Slovak company, were presented to Aurel Stodola Elementary School to be used in the classrooms throughout the district. The donation is to increase the safety of children and young people studying in primary schools through effective and regular disinfection of school classrooms and common areas in schools to combat the spread of COVID-19.

82nd Airborne participates in Polish-led multinational exercise

A paratrooper assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division jumps into Torun, Poland, during Exercise Anakonda 2016, June 8. Exercise Anakonda 2016, a Polish-led, multinational exercise running from June 7-17, involves approximately 25,000 participants from more than 20 nations and is a premier training event for U.S. Army Europe.
