CTEF team clears lot, delivers military vehicles, firearms to Iraqi security forces

A heavy equipment operator at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait's Lot 54 loads a trailer onto a flatbed for further delivery to Iraqi security forces as part of the Counter ISIS, Train, Equip Fund-I's mission to build military partner capacity. This trailer was the last item out mostly military vehicles, which were in the lot when the Army Reserve Soldiers of the Indianapolis-based 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) who staff the 1st Theater Sustainment Command's operational command post, which included management of the CTEF-I.

The 289th MP Co., belonging to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), is currently running a partnership pilot program with the U.S. Army Reserve's 200th MP Command, which began in early February, placing Army Reserve Soldiers on active duty orders for three weeks while working at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Fort Lesley J.
