Cape Girardeau, Missouri native and 647th Regional Support Group (Forward) Soldier re-enlists in the United States Army Reserve

Spc. Anfernee Lovelady currently serves as a Class 1 armorer with the 647th Regional Support Group (Forward), Fort Bliss Mobilization Brigade, at Fort Bliss, Texas in the S4 section. Capt. Leonard Irizarry, assistant S4 officer in charge, administered the enlistment oath to Lovelady during the ceremony. Lovelady was joined by his fiancé, Yoli Soto, and members from the S4 section during the ceremony.

The 647th RSG (Forward) assumed authority of the Fort Bliss Mobilization Brigade in January 2021 and is responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating support services related to mobilization and demobilization. It serves as the pre-mobilization liaison for U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers by providing administrative and logistical support prior to, during, and after mobilization.
