Brig. Gen. Ernest Litynski, commanding general of the 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, gives opening remarks during the first virtual Stand for Life suicide prevention training event with 79 suicide prevention liaisons across Army Reserve units throughout the continental U.S. The training which was supposed to be a live event was forced to cancel, due to COVID-19, one week before their training date. Months later, the team came together to develop a virtual forum and train the SPLs in a thorough program that examines a broad range of areas when handling suicide-related concerns. The training is designed to grow a network of people who maintain established relationships there and support each other after the training is completed. The event was a collaboration effort from several Army Reserve subordinate commands. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Anthony L. Taylor)
