U.S. Army launches first-ever Army Week-Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH - Brig. Gen. Duane Miller, deputy commanding general of U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, delivers remarks during the opening ceremony and expo May 4 for the U.S. Army’s first-ever Army Week-Pittsburgh at the city’s Point State Park. The kickoff event included performances by the 28th Infantry Division Army Band and the U.S. Army Drill Team, as well as remarks from several senior Army leaders. Army Week–Pittsburgh is a Total Army community outreach effort to connect the Pittsburgh community and its citizens with the Army they haven't met yet — including active Army, National Guard and Army Reserve.
