Army Reserve Soldiers put warrior skills to the test in joint command competition

CAMP WILLIAMS, Utah - Army Reserve Sgt. William Medina, an x-ray technician and native of East Bay, California, assigned to the 352nd Combat Support Hospital, 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) rests atop a large boulder after completing and eight-mile ruck march at a joint command Best Warrior Competition held at Camp Williams, Utah March 23. Nearly 20 Soldiers from around the country have come together to compete in four-days of intense challenges ranging from 12-mile ruck marches, to weapons marksmanship, drill and ceremony, written essays, day and night land navigation and a host of basic Soldiering skills as they vie to rise above their competitors and claim the title of their command’s Best Warrior.
