Command Sgt. Maj. retired Arthur Leak receives the Maj. Gen. James Earl Rudder award for his service and dedication to America and the Army Reserve during Association of the United States Army's opening ceremony at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., Oct. 10, 2022. Leak served in the Army and Army Reserve for 39 years, retired in 2017 and was appointed Army Reserve ambassador for Indiana in 2017. AUSA supports soldiers, their families and Army civilians, provides a voice for the Army, and honors those who have served. This year's theme is Building the Army of 2030.
