During the exercise, the 364th ESC were responsible for more than 35 sustainment units that were responsible for managing supply yards, rail port operations in Zagan and Drawsko Pomorski, sea port operations in Szczecin and ammunition supply points. The units came from the Army National Guard, active Army and the Army Reserve and include three of the ESC organic subordinate units; the 483rd Quartermaster Company, the 909th Human Resources Company and the 592nd Ordnance Company.

364th ESC Soldiers turn a field on a Polish military base near Warsaw into a tactical operations center. Nearly 200 Soldiers from the unit's headquarters worked and lived in expeditionary conditions for more than a month providing sustainment support to combat units during Anakonda 16 May 9 through June 17.

James Hale, a Transportation Management Coordinator with the 3882nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, is interviewed by a Polish television reporter during Exercise Anakonda 2016 at the Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area, Poland, June 14. Hale, the son of American missionaries, was born in Poland and has lived most of his life there. He has served as a Polish translator for the soldiers in his unit during their time in Poland. Exercise Anakonda 2016 is a Polish-led, joint multinational exercise taking place throughout Poland June 7-17. The exercise involves approximately 31,000 participants from more than 20 nations.
