U.S. Army Africa completes first 2017 MEDRETE

U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Kenneth H. Opportunities abound during Regional Total Army Conference

Conference participants observe the realistic, life-like x-ray training station at the Iowa National Guard’s Sustainment Training Center. With fewer distractions, a low teacher-to-student ratio, and interactive, hands-on training using state-of-the-art equipment, the STC features an inimitable educational environment for today’s Army. Approximately 30 members of the U.S. Army’s Total Force – Active Duty, U.S. Army Reserve, and National Guard – met Jan. 18-19, at the Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa, to take part in a Regional Total Army Conference. Officials discussed current issues and how they can help synchronize training efforts to produce stronger, better-trained Soldiers.

Camp As Saliyah Education Center : Here to Help

"I volunteer to help Soldiers understand they can enjoy an education," said Chief Warrant Officer 3 Fernando Darnell Lockett, a Human Resources Technician and Casualty Operations Officer with the 14th Human Resources Sustainment Center, 1st Sustainment Command (Theater). Lockett, is a Military Science and Supervision Management volunteer professor at the Camp As Saliyah, Qatar, Education Center. Lockett will begin teaching classes January 23, 2017.

Soldier Readiness: Have you and your Family prepared?

Army Medical Department Professional Management Command (APMC) located in Atlanta, Georgia hosted a Soldier Readiness Processing  (SRP) level 2 from 8-12 Jan., processing more than 225 military personnel from four separate units during the 5-day event.  The objective of the process is for Soldiers to be administratively, financially, legally, spiritually, logistically and medically ready to be mobilized after attending an SRP.  On average, APMC hosts four SRP’s each year and ensures over 400 medical professionals are medically and administratively ready annually to support the Army’s missions all over the world.
