88th RSC’s Operation Platinum Support puts Soldiers to work turning wrenches and improving readiness

As part of his U.S. Army Reserve Annual Training participation in the 88th Regional Support Command's Operation Platinum Support mission, Sgt. Bryant Vannoy with the 298th Support Maintenance Company out of Altoona, Pa., removes the wheel of a FMTV for annual service and maintenance at the 88th RSC’s Equipment Concentration Site 67 on Fort McCoy, July 28. Operation Platinum Support allows Army Reserve Soldiers in low-density supply and maintenance specialties to perform and gain proficiency in their technical skills while acting in direct support to the numerous exercises taking place on Fort McCoy.

841st Hurricanes Leave Their Mark in Eastern Europe

The 841st Engineer Battalion, U.S. Army Reserve, out of Miami, Florida participated in Operation Resolute Castle from June to August 2016 as part of their extended combat training. Operation Resolute Castle is a United States Army Europe led military construction operation that includes constructing roadways and infrastructure improvements. These efforts span Eastern Europe taking place in Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia and Hungary. Soldiers from several companies rotated through over a span of several weeks from a variety of military occupational specialties including medical, and vertical and horizontal construction. Texas Guard, Reserve Soldiers and Civilians Partner at Operation Lone Star

Army Reserve Sustainment Command mobilizes Soldiers to make impact within the acquisition community

Jason Reherman, Department of the Army systems coordinator assigned to ASA (ALT) Army Reserve Element work together with Ms. Christy Carlile, staff action specialist and Mr. Bryon Manna, congressional analyst both for ASA (ALT). The group was tasked to take a closer look at the three principal decision making support systems within the Department of Defense (DoD) in order to make the process faster and better.

Signal Command Soldiers return from successful Afghan mission

The detachment of 24 Soldiers spent the last nine months deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and the ongoing war on terrorism.   Their mission comprised of providing, maintaining, repairing and establishing electronic communications throughout the Afghan theater of operations.
