Dec. 30 submission deadlines are fast approaching for a dozen Army fellowship opportunities managed by the U.S. Army Human Resources Command.

Sisk is an aviation liaison officer (LNO) assigned to the 11th Theater Aviation Command (TAC) out of Fort Knox, Ky. The 11th TAC is the only aviation command in the U.S. Army Reserve. The 11th TAC has two missions, functioning as both a warfighting headquarters and as a functional command. As warfighting command, the 11th TAC provides command and control, staff planning, and supervision for two aviation brigades and one air traffic service battalion. Sgt. 1st Class Jamie Benbrook, National Guard member assigned 2-121st Regimental Training Institute, Springfield, Ill., assembles a toy bicycle at the Holiday Helper Association Toy Store during a volunteer effort with 22 fellow students enrolled in the 94th Training Division’s Quartermaster Senior Leadership Course at The Army School System Training Center, Fort Lee, Dec. 5, 2015. The students took time out of their grueling 17-week class schedule to help the nonprofit organization prepare for the holidays. They assembled 30 toy bicycles in an hour, and they also helped beautify and organize the all-volunteer run facility in preparation of the association’s annual open house, scheduled for Dec. 11, and two Christmas shopping days scheduled for Dec. 15 and 16, 2015.
