FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, CA - Ricky Bittle of Bryson-Hesperia, in the guise and garb of a farmer, listens to the American Soldiers during the Pine Branch town hall during a PSYOP training exercise at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, Feb. 6, 2019. Civilian role players at Fort Hunter Liggett help the PSYOP students learn to negotiate the difficult terrain of cultural, social and political differences as they try to ally the factions in a way beneficial to American interests. This scenario had a small-town American feel as they ironed out disagreements in the Town Hall meeting at the end of the scenario.
