AMEDD Professional Management Command welcomes new commander
U.S. Army Reserve Col. Todd Traver assumed command of Army Medical Department Professional Management Command from Col. Regina Powell, the outgoing commander, during a Change of Command Ceremony presided over by Army Reserve Medical Command commanding general, Maj. Gen. Mary Link, held on Monday, June 18, 2018 in Forest Park, Georgia. The Change of Command ceremony symbolizes the continuation of leadership and unit identity despite the change of individual authority. It also represents the transfer of power from one leader to another; passing the ceremonial flag from outgoing to incoming commander is a physical representation of that transfer.
