A good cause on hallowed ground
Christopher R. Townsend, president, Central Florida Navy League, presents a $54,000 check to leading members of the Navy League and Camaraderie Foundation during the closing ceremony of the 9th Annual Wounded Warfighter Lone Sailor 5K/10K race conducted April 14, 2018, at Blue Jacket Park in Orlando, Fla. In the ensuing hyears, the Central Florida Navy League has raised more than $400,000 in scholarships, programs and organizations dedicated to supporting service members, veterans and their families.
