Refecting Redeployment
U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 332nd Transportation Battalion, ride alongside their vehicles and equipment in a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III during an aerial redeployment training mission Sept. 27, 2017, at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla. The simulated deployment movement was the culminating part of a week-long Deployment Readiness Exercise Level III. The DRE III is a multi-dimensional real world training event where a unit is notified to deploy and must become ready within a 96-hour window. Exercises like the DRE III help Army Reserve units remain capable and ready to accomplish a variety of missions both at home and abroad within a moment’s notice. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
