Eugene, Oregon Native Wins Drill Sergeant of the Year for U.S. Army Reserve
Army Reserve Sgt. Christopher Moses, a Eugene, Oreg. native and drill sergeant with Charlie Company, 3-378th, 95th Training Division (Initial EntryTraining), navigates an obstacle during the 108th Training Command (IET) Drill Sergeant of the Year Competition at Camp Bullis, Texas, March 19-24, 2017. Moses won the Drill Sergeant of the Year title for the 108th TC (IET) at the end of the grueling six-day competition and will represent the U.S. Army Reserve at the Training and Doctrine Command Drill Sergeant of the Year competition later this year. Moses said being a Citizen-Soldier allows him to serve his country while maintaining a civilian job. "As a Citizen-Soldier, my primary job is neither as a civilian or Soldier, but being ready and capable in each capacity." (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Maj. Michelle Lunato/released)
