Cpl. Kelly B. Grothe Army Reserve Center memorialized in honor of fallen Soldiers service and sacrifice
U.S. Army Reserve Ambassador, for the state of Washington, Hon. William Fred Aronow, Ret., (left) offers his condolences to Jan Grothe, (right) mother of the Fallen Soldier, during the memorialization ceremony of the Cpl. Kelly B. Grothe Army Reserve Center in Hayden, Idaho, Oct. 22. Grothe was a United States Army Combat Engineer assigned to Bravo Company, 321st Engineer Battalion, who was killed in action while conducting route clearance operations in the area of Abu Bali, Iraq during the Global War on Terrorism, May 3, 2007. He was 21 years old.
