Soldiers from the 484th Movement Control Battalion (MCB) conducted group and zero training, as well as qualification, with the M4 Carbine Weapon in July 2024. The 484th MCB is participating in the Mobilization Support Force Exercise at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, this summer as part of their Annual Training (AT).

U.S. Army Linemen from the 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power) participate in Lineman’s Rodeo in Overland Park, Kansas City, Mo., Oct. 17-19, 2024. The Lineman’s Rodeo attracts the best linemen from around the world to compete in events based on traditional lineman tasks and skills. The first Lineman’s Rodeo was held in September 1984, with twelve participating teams from Kansas and Missouri. The Rodeo has grown to over 300 teams and 450 apprentices. The 2024 U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve Drill Sergeants of the Year were announced during a ceremony held at Fort Jackson, S.C. on Sept, 19, 2024.

After four days of physically and mentally grueling competition, Staff Sgt. Samuel Matlock, a Drill Sergeant representing the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., was awarded the honorary belt as the active-duty U.S. Army Drill Sergeant of the Year.

Sgt. First Class Jake Mrzena, a Drill Sergeant Leader with the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy at Fort Jackson, S.C., earned the title of U.S. Army Reserve Drill Sergeant of the Year.

Sustainment System Master Gunner (SSMG) course

Families, friends and community supporters gathered to send-off appropriately 200 Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 364th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) at a farewell ceremony held at Marysville Pilchuck High School March 30, 2024. Immediate Response 24 is the first time the U.S. Army has utilized this seaport for port operations making a new logistical pathway that enhances U.S. strategic flexibility and reach to the “High North” in order to defend its NATO Allies. Military exercises involving NATO Allie’s and partner nations in the European theater remain an integral part of demonstrating our capability, readiness, and interoperability.

The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa missions across the theater.
