David Pinter, Fort McCoy garrison commander (left) conduct an aerial tour of the extensive training capabilities provided by the Range Complex on Fort McCoy, Wis., May 23. As a Total Force Training Center, Ft. McCoy's primary responsibility is to support the training and readiness of military personnel and units of all branches and components of America's armed forces. The 88th RSC facilitates training on Ft. McCoy through programs like Operation Platinum Support which allows Army Reserve Soldiers to gain proficiency in technical skills by providing real-world support skills while acting in direct support to the numerous exercises taking place on Ft. McCoy. More than 300 service members will be conducting real-world hands-on training on Ft. McCoy with the 88th RSC this year as part of Operation Platinum Support.
