Basic Leader's Course Complete

Basic Leader Course (BLC) soldiers complete Physical Readiness Training preparatory drill rehearsals prior to being tested on their knowledge, and execution of the drill. Instructors from the 83rd United States Army Reserve Readiness Training Center (ARRTC) under the 100th Training Division, had 32 soldiers graduate from the Basic Leaders Course (BLC).

Sgt. 1st Class Donald Swain is awarded the Army Achievement Medal for his hard work and achievement during the 80th Training Command's annual instructor of the year competition.
The 80th Training Command's annual instructor of the year competition consisted of a 20-minute class of participants choosing, an appearance board with questions from the Army Training and Doctrine Command and Army Regulations based one instructor knowledge, and an impromptu motivator style of instruction with the intent to motivate students on a topic given by the board.

80th Training Command instructors compete for top honors

The 80th Training Command’s best instructors proved themselves at the command’s 2018 Instructor of the Year Competition here Oct. 18-20, 2018.  Twenty-one Army Reserve instructors from across the command’s three training divisions and the 4960th Multifunctional Training Brigade contended for the top prize in three categories: enlisted, officer, and civilian.
